If your using sum formula in excel you can press short cut key Alt+=
You should be more specific. You can either go to "formulas" tab then select insert formula, or you can click on the function button that is above the column letters.
click on the cell the formula to be implemented. Start with "=" and enter the formula required.
For example "=Sum(A1:A)" and press enter
SUM Formula: =SUM(5, 5) or =SUM(A1, B1) or =SUM(A1:B5)
Count Formula: =COUNT(A1:A10)
