1.Low fuel pressure2.Low starting air pressure3. If battery started, battery discharged4.Choked or leaky injectors,fuel filters5.inlet exhaust valve damaged spring6.water in diesel

Many things could lead to Engine start failure but the most frequent reason is the dead battery , other reasons may include starter motor failure , air bubble inside fuel system . and if the the engine has advanced protection then low oil level /pressure and low water level will pop up an alarm and prevent the engine from starting.

the primary cause of failure of engine are many but once is bad and low voltage of starting battery
