I have very good experience in the oilfield industry for 12 years in many countries , the question is why up to now I am not getting a job?

I have very good experience in the oilfield industry for years in many locations and countries but because of the recession as a result of low oil prices I am sitting home since March even though I sent my CV to many companies and recruiters, the question is why up to now I am not getting a job???

check the structuring of your CV or try other ways of submitting applications, maybe meeting the employers by applying in person.

That thing would happen due to many different reasons but i will give you some advices. Make sure that you are applying early to the posted job to get a higher rank. Try to attach covering letters because it attracts employers. Sometimes companies posts the jobs in bayt but they dont check the updates on it, and in this case I suggest you apply for the job directly on their own website. Hope that helps.
