HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY CAN BE USED TO CONCENTRATE SOLUTION BECAUSE IT ALLOWS THE USE OF VERY SMALL PARTICLE SIZE FOR THE COLUMN PACKING MATERIAL, WHICH THEN GIVES A GREATER SURFACE AREA FOR INTERACTION BETWEEN THE STATIONARY PHASE AND THE MOLECULES FLOWING PAST IT  AT HIGH PRESSURE.
