Translators are usually viewed as facilitators. They actually facilitate the communication process between various parties as well as giving the organization a better representation within the international community. If translators were also involved in training and professional development, they provide the advantage of localizing training content and delivering training workshops and seminars in alignment with regional requirements and contexts. In some companies, translators may have smaller roles exemplified in being mere support functions staff required to do clerical work in addition to utilizing their linguistic skills.
