For me, a direct approach to meet client's needs is to perform survey and the data itself will allow you to produce the goods and/or services your company has to offer. While on the other hand, to meet satisfaction requires the request for feedback for continuous improvements to satisfy them.

listen, understand and have regular conversations about their needs and changing environment ....i recommend regular service meetings in a partnership method. Also statistics are important to track issues that are happening regular to create solutions. Its a very broad subject but this is a basic response.

Before meetings the clients needs and satisfaction , one needs to understand what the client's business requires to perform well . This understanding will allow the service provider to deliver on expectation .
