It depends on many things... Every protocol has its prons and cons.
IGP protocols like OSPF, RIP and EIGRP are meant for reachability inside your network domain.
RIP is only for small networks, it works fine with low utilization of the resources of routers but has high convergence time.
OSPF and EIGRP, are great protocols for big networks, convergence is very fast and reliable.
EIGRP is still cisco property, they are working to make it open protocol.
BGP is meant for reachability and policing outside your domain (Internet).
So you have to decide first what you need exactly and how big is your network.
First If you use cicso raouters and switches then you use EIGRP . if you use other companies routers and switches live3com then you use OSPF, AND RIP.
RIP is a forceful protocol type used in Local Area Network and Wide Area Network. type is categorized interior gateway protocol within the use of distance vector algorithm.
OSPF is an active routing protocol used in internet protocol. Particularly it is a link state routing protocol and includes into the group of interior gateway protocol. The Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) most widely used in the network of big business companies.
EGP is unlike distance vector and path vector protocol. It is a topology just like tree.
EIGRP is a Cisco routing protocol. It is a distance-vector routing protocol in advance within the optimization to lessen both the routing unsteadiness incurred after topology alteration, plus the use of bandwidth and processing power in the router which support enhanced interior gateway routing protocol will automatically reallocate route information neighbors by exchanging the32 bit EIGRP.
BGP are the core routing protocol of the internet and responsible to maintain a table of Internet protocol networks which authorize network reaching capability between AS. The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) expressed as path vector protocol. It doesn’t employ conventional IGP metrics but making routing judgment based on path, network policies.
البرتوكول المناسب يعتمد على نوع الواوترات اولا ثم الاغراض التي تعمل عليها الشبكة
يعتمد على
حجم الشبكة .
عدد النقاط في كل شبكة .
النقاط الثابتة والنقاط المتحركة .
هل الشبكة ثابتة ام متغيرة من حيث موقع كل نقطة مع ما يجورها من نقاط .
حجم تطور النقاط بالشبكة اي زيادتها.
مثلا فان rip يعتمد على عدد السو ريزو (sous reseu) لكي يصل الى distination
و eigrp يعتمد على metrique
وهي قاعدة حسابية تعتمد على BP و charge و fiablité
و ospf هو من احسن البروتوكولات لانه يعتمد على cout ospf و هي الباند باسنت اي انه يختار الطريق
مثلا لدينا طريقان
الاول512 mbits و التاني1 gbit سوف يختار الثاني لانه يمكنه من ارسال عدد كبير من الباكي في وقت قصير
و انا من وجهت نضري ospf الاحسن بينهم
