I agree that design programs are just a tool in hand of a designer.
Experience in plant nursery and field experience along with civil engineers, architects and also field workers are top priority for the fresh graduate.
No program can replace the hand of the architect as the original it is. They should be a priority of technicians and designers. The correct answer is different for those starting free practice.
Good knowlage for related programs like autocad, landfx, google sketchup, photoshop, ...etc
