the jobs offer is going decreased , even people in industry now a days fear from loosing their jobs .

Don't worry! during it came down to8 US$ afterwards it went up and it came down but these are all cyclical.

Yes, due to crises in oil prices the future of Petroleum Engineers regarding jobs is temporarily bleak. But in the long run, it is bright. It is because the automobiles used in the world are increasing by leaps and bounds. Secondly, due to the conflicts among the Arab nations the oil price has come down. Once stable governments replace these unstable regimes in countries like Syria, Libya, etc., there are chances of surge in oil prices. I am sure the talent of Petroleum Engineers won't go unrewarded.
