The best way to promote home -based food business through social media marketing is to create a name in food industry like to host or guest on the TV program or TV series introducing your food and  show your technique, the  new idea in cooking. Hence in this way it will bridge and build trust to the viewer to patronize your food business guaranteed quality standard. To enforce this, use flyers and invitation to all your friends to eat in your restaurant with discount. Prepare a taster of your best seller product together the new product and station it in a mall or in the street or in the congested public places so that it will be noticeable to all people. Attach your name used on TV program on the label name of the product so that it is easy for the shopper to select the best. Of course make several accounts on different social media and post your products that also shown on the TV.

1-make a professional photograph of your products

2-make your Ads sponsored.

3- choose the perfect word to get the audience  attention.

4-try to reply all the comments .

it depends on what kind of products are you selling.

for example if you are selling beauty products then Instagram, Facebook, etc. sites are useful for getting people know your products.

it totally depends on what kind of audience do you want to bring in?

1-Focus on the Platforms Where Your Customers Are?2-choosing content wisely

3-getting "good" photographs of products

4- staying up to date with current trends

5-understanding whole online advertisement and than using one on respected website which have your audience.

6- replying to as many feedbacks as possible

The classic mistake people make when engaging in any marketing push is to focus on the channel (ie tv, newspaper, social media etc) rather than objectives and needs of the people you are addressing. Do the following:

1.) Identify what NEED you are addressing in the consumer eg convenience, taste, nutrition etc. This will help to define your core message and target market2.) What makes you difference from others? Why should someone buy from you and not someone else? That is your USP (unique selling point).3.) Segment your target market. If you could identify the ideal person who would benefit from your product, who are they?4.) Identify ‘your ideal customer’s’ likes, dislikes, habits and taste5.) Once the above is done, you are ready to develop your Content calendar using a content calendar matrix. You can see the matrix here http://www.smartinsights.com/content-management/content-marketing-strategy/the-content-marketing-matrix-new-infographic/

Use this matrix to develop a content calendar that you can schedule for the year. A good content calendar will have a balanced mix of content objectives (awareness, educate, inspire and convince) and mediums (pictures, videos, articles and infographics)

6.) Now go find your target market within the social media world. What groups are they signed up to? What platforms are they on? What interests are they following? These platforms will disseminate the content you’ve created. A shot primer on the best medium to use on SM based on my own experience: Facebook – best for videos Twitter – best for memes Pinterest – best for Pictures Instagram  best for vines Youtuve – obviously videos LinkedIn – articles and infographics7.) Measure and track everything. Without this, you will not be able to assess the effectiveness of your efforts. 8.) Use what you learn in point7 and pour back into point1 onwards. Marketing is a cycle rather than a linear process.

Social Media is the most innovative and effective marketing tool that has the largest target audience base. You can reach anyone from Jumeirah to Colorado. For a simple 'home based food business' one needs stick with a simple game plan, investigate how often your 'local competitors' are posting and check on research to see the ideal amount of content to publish per day on each channel/media. You want to be active, but not overly active with good quality pictures and attractive offers to generate attention.

Create a short1-2 minutes movie, animated or live, that shows your product in a social context, that sends a message to the audience and connects with them so they share it on different social media networks. The people will do the rest for you. Just sit and watch! Having grabbed their attention don't forget to keep them attached and reminded every now and then.

The most important thing is to use appealing photos showing how delicious and well presented is your food, it will catch the eyes of the potential consumers and push him to know more about your products.

We have to show and underline also the cleanness of the kitchen so we gain the consumer trust.

It all depends on your wording for the products/offers you have, you cannot just say "xyz offer on abc product", you need to form the sentences, the design layout etc in such a way that it catches the eye of the surfer. Keep in mind it should not be long so that people get tired of reading through it before the end. Secondly, you need to enroll yourself in as many groups as possible available on social sites for your specific city/country or even region and keep posting your business offers on these group pages. You need to create some offers for people who like your page or who follow you, have some kind of a automated messaging system that will send a code to the inbox of a person immediately after he/she likes/follows your page, the code can then be exchanged for the offer. You also need to become a part of the groups created specifically for your product, be those groups in your specific region or the entire world and contribute with ideas, questions, suggestions etc.

The above is according to facebook.

Marketing yourself on the internet is not an easy task and requires dedication and patience. May Allah grant you success. Ameen

Following the example of famous social media marketing for home-made food pages is a plus. You can actually identify a successful pattern in creating, editing and publishing their posts and videos. Basic graphic design skills would be highly recommended to decorate your page as well as having a scheduled timeline for your posts making sure to post videos that are relevantly short, eye catching and fun to do. Once followers are engaged in the process of cooking home-made food, you will gain their trust and interest in you products
