Dear Sir,

Tests that are based on chemistry reaction, which can be visualized and examined on slides, the results and what we can detect, are considered as qualitative measurements, or indicative for the presence or absence for such reaction of that finding.

Sometimes, those tests done on slides can be semi-quantitative and be applicable to get indicative measurement for the degree of those reactions (assay titers).

Quantitative assays are best done to detect the concentrations of those chemical reactions by specialized devices or instruments like Spectrophotometer, HPLC, MS-GC, and more. By this issue, we can follow up any deviation or delay on those chemical reactions, and what fluctuations or interruptions could occur.

Best Regards,

Lubna Al-Sharif
