I recommend to learn English well to focus on the main basic skills: Reading, Speaking, Writing, and listening
watching movies and listening to music is the best strategy to improve ur English
Expose yourself to the language. Surround yourself with an English only environment. Practice. Practice. Practice.
A person who is not a native speaker of English shouldn't just rely on a teacher to learn English immediately. Aside from learning English in a classroom setup, it also helps a person be comfortable in English (either speaking, reading or comprehension), by reading English newspapers and books, watching English channels, practice speaking in front of a mirror. Don't forget to always bring a good dictionary with you! Those are just some of the things that will help you gauge the language easier and comfortably. Also, talking to different people who are not speaking your language will polish your English capabilities. Remember that learning is a continuous process and same thing goes in learning the English language. Don't be afraid to make mistakes because if you are aware of your mistakes, then you'll be able to correct yourself as well as others can help you too.
Taking English Classes will help you know the rules and how to be grammatically correct when using it. But without the proper application of the language like what I mentioned above, learning won't be comfortable and it'll be difficult. Learning the basics and in the classroom will only provide twenty percent of the total package of it, the remaining eighty percent is through actual application or the everyday use of it.
