Do you think that customer service should attend to one customer at a time?

I get so annoyed when the customer service agent turns to an interupting customer without further helping me when I need them.  I really think that they should ask the interupting customer to wait their turn.  Do you feel the same way?

As a customer service agent you must at least attend one customer at a time so that you can assist everything he/she needed. And you can focus to her/him attentively without thinking other customer.

Yes, It is better to handle one customer at a time .But sometimes the other customer , may have some imminent queries. In this case I will decide where i should concentrate first . If both cases are same I will seek help from my colleagues to help the other customer.

It is a bit tricky. If you focus on one customer only and ignored the rest, then there is a high probability other customers will leave.  If you distribute your effort on many customers at one time, you should have the skills to accommodate them in a smart way, yet keep them on board.

Yes, Customer Service Agents should focus on one customer at a time especially when the customer has approached you with Quality or Service Issue. It may further damage the relationship if the solution is not provided quickly.
