a short advice: follow your sense and look for whatever can inspires you. read lots of books even if it was stories, novels or even a poems.. these things gives you more phrases to know and more knowledge in many fields.. this way goes for me even if i wanted to write in political writings

Most famous writers do advise, when they are asked with that particular question, is to write as much as possible or never stop writing, like write every day :) I don't disagree with them, however, they can give us a much better advice than that, right? ;) From my end, I would suggest reading as well.  Read some books of your favourite writers, try to see the style of their writing and eventually you will come up your own style of writing. Also, get the habit to look for a word, or words, that you find unfamiliar and look for its meaning (both from dictionary & thesaurus) after that try to use it when you converse with someone or friends or when you write something :)  Last but not the least, whatever comes in your mind/thoughts, or when you are inspired, write it/them down, like writing a journal.  Hopefully, I am able to help you, Aya, with my few suggestions :) Thank You for the question and Blessed be..

my experience says: lots of subjected related reading of quality publications. while reading, understadning language tone, structure and diction. Then practicing maximum writing to organise and train the brain.
