V-Ray is one of the time saviours for achieving a satisfying rendering. As it ignores many light paths, it never generates a complete physically correct image, as Maxwell or Fry, but pending on the subject of the rendering and the realism needed it is a good option and time saviour in3d rendering.
I love vray but there is also maxwell & lumion also is good
It depends on the user. Some find V-ray as annoying and need more patience to have the perfect effect you want. But some enjoys it since they endure and is for a very realistic effect output. But for me, V-ray. (Still working on it thou)
Another option to Vray is the plugin SU podium!
Try corona it's like vray but easier
https://corona-renderer.com/
try 3dsmax render or maxwell
I use VRay as it gives more options for realistic rendering and the rendering time it takes is lesser than all other rendering engines,.
Apart from VRay I have tried Corona rendering, Octane renderer, Maxwell renderer, Autodesk I-Ray. Corona is easier to learn and outputs are good enough for beginners & intermediates. For professionals I always suggest VRay.
there is many plugin but not like powerful like vray , also almost block you will find it by vray and all workplaces use vray in almost company.
Nothing is perfect is a general role, if you want perfection you have to do it yourself
However, "Solid Rocks" is close enough
