In IP NW, Pkt goes hop by hop and finally reaches its destination. commands to find the path are as below...

1. tracert <IP v4 Address>

2. traceroute ipv62001:db8:349e:a384::34

Other variants can be selection of the pkt size, host name resolution for the path over which pkt traversed.

Using “tracert” command lets you see the path travelled by a packet to its destination.

Send a ping to the destination ip, that will confirm if the packet reaches the desired path or failed
