Hi Mr.Faris, ERP is not that mandatory if you could maintain manual excel sheets. But, if you have to manage a warehouse, you could go for a good Inventory Management System. It saves your time on analysing the stocks. For example, physical verification of any medical carton or information on expired goods etc. Based on your need, you can even expand your system. It depends whether the IT Company whose ERP package is being used is customised to medical warehouse operations or not.It is beneficial in providing immediate information/ reports and triggering indents/ ensuring timely dispatches and tracks the operational costs and also aggregates reports on the expiry with pre-intimation and other stores of same corporate can also access info easily.So, it can provide a lot of useful interface services including which product should get stored in which compartment/place in warehouse..and so on.
