I believe design wise the best is Digital project (CATIA) but unfortunately the secrets of the software with Frank Gehry Team, plus the big problem of the non flexibility interoperability. otherwise I believe Revit does great job as it is the most common software.it goes will also in4D and5D coordination but have a little problem for high level of control (member marking)
Revit is the best and most widen for the BIM technology. This program incorporates both3D modeling and2D drafting in one .
The Revit program is a program that combines inability collected old programs such as AutoCAD, etc. It combines AutoCAD and Max and construction programs
The most famous softwares for achieving BIM are2 programs, Rivet & Archi CAD. For me I prefer Revit because of its ease of use, cleaner interface & better support from the leading company Autodesk
By Autodesk:-
Revit
Naviswork
By Bentley:-
Microstation
AECOsim Building Designer
For Atchitects yes.
As architects coordinate the projects I think that this is a real think for doing good job.
ArchiCAD is one of BIM programs and it is compatibile with the other standard BIM sowtwares over .icf extension which provides comunication betwen the BIM softwares.
i think archicad is tha best
