Which program do you prefer to use for Architectural Design? And why?

Archidad is good but for detail drawing Autocad is better and professionally use in construction field.

ArchiCAD, because it is the most comprehensive architectural tool available.

Revit is very good and convinient because

its all measurment are available

otherwise we can use mostly AutoCAD

As for me Tools (revit, Autocad, etc) for your help only, They can make your work easy but is person working on them is more important, therefor you should work on with the tools you are comfortable with.

For me Revit is the best software. It offers all tools to create the right drawing and simplify all operations.

Using mix software to presenent high quality of production, starting from sketching using freehand, followed by modeling software "Sketchup -3D Max" in assistance by Autocad and finally using the Revit and BIM tools according to the final product delivery to the owner.

its all looks to me as a tools, changing tools according to what we need to produce.
