What is the threat of malware within the threats of information security , and how can you reveal and detect it ?

The malware is a combination of words "MALicious" and "softWARE". The software is intended to use against the will of the computer user. It is an umbrella term and includes viruses, trojans, spyware, adwares etc. The malware may be used to disrupt the computer operations or may be used to steal the confidential information. A good Anti-virus suit may well reveal and detect it.
