Well the question itself is contradicting with the status of an individual. An individual always wants to be the Boss and to rule, however, financial and technical skills under leadership domain are barriers that brings an individual into employment to work for others. in an employment, an individual has golden chance to perform experiments with already resource available at corporate premise where he/she is working. however, having sufficient and sound experience of technical and financial development, one cal run his/her own company quite well.

Some are born leaders, some gradually over experience become leaders.

How would you see the world with all entrepreneur??. there is a requirement of balancing with working class also. Anyways coming back to your question.

It depend upon person to person and many related supporting elements such as,

1) Risk taking capability

2) Skill of managing people/product

3) Backed with financial support

4) Knowledge of market

5) Manufacturing/trading process knowledge

If you have the above skills you can start your own business and be a businessman, otherwise getting employed to some company would be a better option.

I like both, but prefer to be an employer. Because there are so many chances to go ahead and improve you businesses. But if we are employer, no doubt, we get increments in our salaries but at least we are employees. But to be employer or employee, depends on investment to run a successful business. And all employers are not always employers, Most of them also had been employees too. And finally they became successful employers.
