A True Architect always start their designs by hand sketching. Sketching frees the mind of any complications of using any software or tools thus the conceived idea is directly translated to the sketches on the paper.
As an Architect I would prefer designing first lines or forms by hand. Rest of the advanced works can be done using computer applications
from my POV , 1st by hand then with exclusive design program
As per my knowledge its much better by hand so that we can explain the needee to understand the work in a good and eazy way to go on with the work to be completed well and good
architects who draw with hands have an artistic level more highest than those draw with computer
As architectecture is an Art and related to creativity rather than being a pure science, it is always amazing to develop ones design from a primitive hand sketches. which even gives freedom to explore more of your abstract imaginary forms into reality.
As an architect you start sketching and schematic designs by hand. You have to practice creating informative freehand sketches which will help you have an in-depth view for your forms.
Computer stage is to come after that.
Designer who respect what he is doing will always follow the proper design process which start with thinking about the concept design, hand sketching is alive, imaginary and flexible its very effective in creating concepts and design solutions. If you start with computer you are just using your memory keeping creativity and innovation areas of your brain idle
1. First understand the project type.
2. Create concept by hand sketching
3. Detailing in computer.
first draw by hand draw then to computer is better
Start the concept with hand sketch before jumping to Revit
