in pakistan, most of the people use UPS as temporary alternative of electric power. which take most of the power to charge batteries. i believe if people stop using their UPS for a month, there will be much decrease in load shedding.

more over, in terbela dam of pakistan, out of4 turbines are out of service. so if we somehow start using those turbines our issue will sort out plus solar plants in desserts and wind power projects in guader. 

Same is the situation in india and afganistan.
