Would you recommend the Cert IBET (Certificate in International Business English Teaching) offered by both UK English and Trinity College London? Why?

Knowledge has no limits even if it's about a language. Certificates, Diplomas and degrees are recognition of a specific level of knowledge acquired by the candidate. A part from other benefits these are essential to boost self esteem. One has to go for these when found an opportunity.

Its good certificate. It equips you the the needed jargons and terminologies of the field of inrernational business. It may also be required for the teaching of business communication in some colleges or iniversities.

Having a certifications is definately an added advantage when teaching English. My advice is to go for the certification.

It's certainly a good course, provided you already have a diploma in ELT. You have great chances of employment once you pass this course. A word of caution - native speakers are preferred everywhere even if you are a professor of English.

Certainly yes. The certificate will equip you to teach English for Specific Purposes, anywhere in the world, especially in the Arab world. It is equal to CELTA / TESOL.
