I think we have migrate only data, so we can develop application which is responsible to copy data from mysql to oracle with meta data

We can migrate from the Tools , we have lot of tools are available like  DBConnect, DNSync and ESF migration Tools like etc.

 

i already tested and migrated successfully from MySQL to Oracle DB.

The Best Approach i would prefer is Golden Gate for migration from mysql to Oracle ,

Indeed Golden Gate's Vendor is Oracle itself.

migration process is to convert the captured model of the database to an Oracle-specific model. The captured model contains data types, naming schemes etc. defined by your database vendor; this now must be converted to Oracle formats.
