3. It's a new wonderful era!!

The Cloud Technologies will not reduce IT job opportunities and no specialties will disappear any time soon.  Some IT specialists will have to learn new technologies.  For example, system administrators will still be needed in the future because most companies will go for hybrid cloud (using a mix of public cloud and local on-premises systems).  So system admin's are still needed.  Even if the company goes for public cloud, the servers hosted in the cloud still need to be administered.

Furthermore, learning new technologies, like Cloud technologies, is not something new: IT folks have always had to keep learning new technologies because new technologies are developed every day.

Consequence is definitely some jobs are going to be eliminated but on the positive side new jobs like DevOps, SysOps etc are created. Further it'll eliminate huge data centres and reduce operating and maintenance costs. Technological advantages are countless though.
