Upscale hotels usually dont have cashiers ... If you have specific accounting skills alongwith cash handling experience then you might be considered. Restaurants might a better fit for a cashier role
As per you question, NO it is not difficult , but you need to stay optimist and keep searching and applying, it is a job market that has a lot of competition !

Finding a job for person who is 5 years experienced in hotel as an cashier is not difficult but naturally it depends on your academic qualification, and your experience in the same country, and you must have work visa in the same country. also it depends on your luck.
