Now, most of the organization are opting for ERP software and it could be used by all department including Accounting Department.

For simple and cost effective solution, one can use “TALLY”. This is quite user friendly also.

I recommend Tally itself. which i find easy to work with, and doesn't give you trouble

There are a lot of security and administrative and statement and Phoenix programs and accountant and others scattered in the Middle East, and each features a program depending on the nature of work of each company

It depends on the company size and preferences. QuickBooks is one of the best either on the cloud or on the company's own server. It is simple and friendly user. Sage also is good. If you would like ERP system for larger firm you can go with NetSuite/ SAP or Oracle. An of course you can choose a customized software from a local software co.

Selection of Accounting software is a bit difficult now a days because there are a lot of options available in the market but the ultimate selection is directly dependent on size and requirement of the company.  If your company is a small company and you are looking for cost effective Accounting software then you may go for Tally or Peachtree but if your requirement is for ERP solution and your company size is big then you may go for Oracle or SAP (depending upon your requirements)
