Can someone get a job in a field in which he or she has no experience but has a degree but an experience in another field and just has gained knowledge in the field on his/her own?

I personally, don't advise you to join in different field which not related to your academics.

Always choose field in which have academic and experience, otherwise your qualification doesn't have value.  

For example; you have done Doctor & you wan't to work as Engineer... is't possible

You may perform, but you're lacking in basics. 

Remember basics is very important to perform any kin of tasks.

No, am actually talking about working in a filed matching with my education background, my job now is related to my education but now as deep in business as I want!

 

My whole experience at work is as an entry level while am actually have an MBA degree, when I tried to find a job to match with my education background, they always said that I don't have an experience!
