A new accountant worked for couple of years, he wants to take certificates to improve his career for accountant, what would you recommend?

I would like to recommend him CMA or CPA

I would recommend to him to take ACCA CIMA or any recognised accounting professional course or accounting degree.

It is a good move and wise thought to improve his professional qualifications. This will definitely improve his career with adding years of work experience. 

It is always assists any person learning fundamentals pertaining to his/her career to perform well, such as; awareness of of the core existence of basic principles relevant to particular job.

There're many internationally renown studies are available pertaining to Accountancy, such as; ICMA, Charted (British) Accountancy etc....

I would recommend pursing Charted Financial Analyst (CFA)  certification. 

I would recommend either CPA or CMA

ACCA, CA or CPA, all are good options

·         A professional accounting course like CA, CPA, CMA, CFA as per career goal of the accountant would be fine.

·         CA and CPA are almost equivalent in weight and perspective and has wider career market.

·       CMA and CFA is quite specialized in content and also provides decent career opportunity
