How to attach a photo in Auto CAD without using x ref ? in this way you don't need to put it the path file

Paste images as OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) - Image will be a part of drawing forever.

 

Procedure :-

 

:::  Copy image using any of the image editing software (for example open image with MS Paint -> Select all (Ctrl+A) -> Copy (Ctrl+C) )

 

:::  Open AutoCAD workspace and paste image (Ctrl+V)

1- Use insert command in Auto Cad to attach any image.

2- Open image in Microsoft Paint and then  copy from Paint into Auto cad by using Windows comman (Ctr +C) and paste in Auto Cad.

There are many ways other then Xref

1) Insert Image

2) Open the image and Copy it, and paste in Cad

open the image in paint select all or select the portion of image (you want to paste in autocad)copy it (ctrl+c)now go to autocad drawing you want to paste and type "pastespec" and hit enter

select "paintbrush picture" and hit oka rectangle sign will appear on cursor select the position of lower left for image.done
