No need many but just one books is more than enough according to me which would give great happy, good knowledge about, astronomical science, geological science, respect of mankind, respect to your parents, wife and kids and many more, knowledge of life after death, ability for great patience, how to respect your neighbor
, many many more again there. This is what I am taking always along with me for long business trips.
Just have “Great Holy Quran” along its translated copy to your own Language, read it carefully and see the changes
Just for your info, review below points too.
The Quran was so meticulously preserved because it is the Book of Guidance for all of humanity for all times. That is why it does not address just the Arabs, in whose language it was revealed. In fact Arabs today do not comprise more than% of the Today of Muslims in the world today.
The Qur'an is the principle source of every Muslim's faith and practice. It deals with all subjects that concern us as human beings, including wisdom, doctrine, worship and law; but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, the Qur'an provides guidelines for the society, proper human conduct and equitable economic principles.
Thanks for the Invitation. Best already advised by Mr. Mohammed Ashraff and really liked his answer and I would try to follow if I'm the case. Btw, what happenned to your India trip? Does it set aside for now? Thanks.
The Holy Qur'an for sure! 14 hours is a waste of time without reading it.

Have a nice flight.

Reading is just like having a drink or snack; everyone has one's own choice in accordance to taste buds. Any other person can give you only an idea.
Of course, remembering Allah by reciting His Kalam is the best advice, as is suggested by many friends, especially when you are flying in the sky. Still you can't do it for 14 long hours so you need a combo to keep yourself busy.
