Bestsellers have gained such great popularity that it has sometimes become fashionable to purchase them. Critics have pointed out that just because a book is purchased doesn't mean it will be read. The rising length of bestsellers may mean that more of them are simply becoming bookshelf decor.
To be a best seller it is never a brain surgery. It's a matter of taking certain conditions into consideration.
1. Study yourself to know whom you are. Are you an introvert or extrovert individuals. Are you the type that can face the crowd or individuals? Are you sales oriented person? And many more. Try and equip yourself with necessary marketing and sales information before you start your sales campaign.
2. Study your Company and your products very well. you must know the company you are working for very well and study your products as well. you must master all the benefits of your product in order to convince and persuade your customer to buy.
3. Give your customer what they want or needs. You don't need to force your existing or potential customer to buy your product provided you are offering them what they actually needed or wanted.
4. Talk more about the benefit(s) of the product(s) rather than the features of the products.
5. Try to control your emotions when dealing with your customers
6. Motivate your customers and embark on after sales service and finally
7. Develop the attitude of selling and be enthusiastic when dealing with your customers etc
That is to achieve a good rate of sale

Salesmanship gets better with experience. Over time, you will learn how to read a customer, know when to talk and when to keep quiet. That said, begin by studying closing techniques and practice your pitch until you know it completely. I would advise a role play session of at least 25 times before you get anywhere near a real client so you give yourself the best opportunity for a sale. After that, the pitch will be second nature to you.
