I would give 7 for rating the translation of the websites. They give the general meaning and the main concepts to the reader. For better translation, I suggest continous revise by experts.
Well if you are going to translate a word or a phrase then they are very effective. They will give you the most accurate translation that is. On the other hand, if you are going to translate a sentence or a paragraph then you will not be satisfied with the results. In my opinion, 6 or 7 out of 10 is what I would give to online translation websites.
It is a great way to translate words and phrases but not so great with sentences and paragraph!
most if not all of the translation website translate the senteces or paragraph literally which does not work in some cases for example if you have a sentance that is composed of two words in english and you want to translate it to arabic via translation website it will translate each word separtly and put it one sentace but those two words when combined make a new meaning so i would rate those websites 7.
They are not bad, I would say 7 out of 10 is a fair score these days, looking back years ago they were useless.
but the thing is, these websites aren't there for a perfect translation, you cannot expect them to do humans job. (( I will be out of a job if that happens )) .What I mean is , if you have a text that needs to be translated to any other language, use these websites as a foundation ( lets say a draft ) for the final result. then you can link up sentences in a way that makes it more human, sometimes you will find a wrong meaning for a word here and there, because the Algorathims they use in these websites can't and will never be able to get the context and the soul of the text.
4/ I think the best solutio is to employ a programmer who can do that efficiency, every one for his mother toungue language .
translation websites can help people in translatins one words samples but in translating a large scale corpus one need to rely on human campetency !
I rate it 3/10
1- generating new translations and rating existing ones
2- finding more ways to contribute and gain visibility into the impact of contributions and the activity across the community.

4- websites should make it possible for users to suggest an entirely new translation directly in website Translate.
Websites translation results isn't prefect like human translation cause it replace the meaning of translation word by word it can't give the exact translation of one sentence correctly.Moreover the sense of the translation will be missed due to lack of sensibility of these machines.3/
I give them 3/10 as they can not be as accurate as humans.
7/10. I could say that the translation of the websites is not as difficult as the translation of another type of differents materials.
I would give 3. Websites translation result isn't prefect because it translaes word by word.
