Excel's VLOOKUP function, which stands for vertical lookup, is used to find specific information that has been stored in a spreadsheet table.
You can use the VLOOKUP function to search the first column of a range of cells, and then return a value from any cell on the same row of the range.

Vlookup is one of the most useful functions in excel with it you can get matching info between two set of data without going for it one by one, but you need to make sure that there are no duplicates in the data you want to retrieve info from as Vlookup will give you the first return value from the second data

if you use only vlookup you can so much work in1 time mean you put data in1 cell all cells show that data relate all data

and you can also use vlookup with other function

for data marge this function is best

=CONCATENATE(VLOOKUP(),VLOOKUP())

Looks at a cell, then takes that value and goes over to a look up table where it looks in the first column, and when it finds the corresponding value in the first columns, it moves to the left in that row and retrieves a value from one of the table's columns and brings it back to the cell.
