I don't think I'm going to critique recruitment methods in the Middle East per se however I would say that  recruitment methods generally follow traditional methods & they  certainly need reviewing. You see, to recruit people these days its about understanding the clients "story"- this isn't just about taking down a spec but really understand what their journey is all about. Once this is defined its appreciating the qualities and attitudes of prospective employees to engage successfully with the client and make a contribution to that journey- the job specification is one thing but get the right people on board who cant wait to join and get them engaged and you have a winning business

totally agreed, unfortunately that kind of resume perspective that people are deciding or depending on accepting of rejecting people need to be review, also when managers are pushing to get an employee ASAP only to fill the empty place, they get like 70% of the time the wrong people.

also recruitment section "in small or big companies" are extremely depending on auto screening without considering your point of the big picture, some people maybe they don't have the big fat resume, but they really have the talent and the ability to get more effective results, they just need someone have this visionary eye to support them.
