How to Connect driver to three phase motor in Case of Phase loss? and how much will be the load?

I have three phase motor and one phase lost so i want to connect the Driver to overcome this Problem .

if I use a capacitor to start up the motor I will loss percent of the Motor .

I want the answer with Details about how to calculate the load .

It is not recommended that three phase motor works on two phase, all modern softstarter or frequency drive has this protection integrated in its so it is not possible that motor works on two phase.

If can't use electronic starter than you can use relay for phase monitor which will shut down motor in case of phase loss.

i have no expertize in this.

looking with you for the answer

Well, In industry , if a phase is lost YOU SHOULD repair it. There is NO other solution with only tow phases.

For small motors, a capacitor can be used to function with tow phases, but the torque won't be the same as functionning with 3 phases.

thanks

sure for 3 phases motor and in critical situation you can convert it to be as single phase but note here that power will be less

the way is by connection one capacitor between 2 phases

the value of it depend on voltage, if 220V so for each horse power you need50 micro farad capacitor
