Great support is highly important in any working environment. For me, where I get to worked in a diverse cultural background, I always put up an approachable manner. So whenever they need something from me related to work, whether it may be little or big favor, as long as I can be of help, I give my support. From trouble shooting a minor technical problems or help do some clerical paper work, I am open to help. It is harmonious to work in an environment where support and cooperation is highly present.

Great support can also be shown from the superiors. Support coming from the managers at work, like appreciating your work performance is very encouraging to work best in order to achieve excellence. Aside from the mentoring you could possibly get from those in the higher position, the appreciation along with respect is one great support for me.

Great support can be  two things: professional great support or personal support. Working as an Admin Asst & PRO at the same time, I've had experience where I really went beyond the extra miles to support my colleagues in both professional and personal manner. There were instances where I was actually extending support to my colleagues which are out of my job description, let's say fixing their desktop or any technical issues which isn't my job because I'm not an IT. but since I am resourceful even tho I didn't learn IT, I still helped them resolve the issues. I do things which are no longer part of my job just to help them, not because I can but rather to impart the knowledge and be of great aid when the need arises.
