Bayt website advertises jobs from middle east and anybody can apply from anywhere in the world. My questions is do the employers consider candidates from India .
I had asked this question previously and the reply that i got is that the candidate should be in the country itself. then i ask what is the use of applying to the jobs from outside the Middle east ?
the middle east employers have a very specific ratio of recruitment from different countries and yes indians are considered on the ratio basis
In general it is easier for employers if the candidate is in-Country. When faced with a choice of a candidate in-Country versus a candidate not in-Country realistically employers are more likely to go with the in-Country candidates. These candidates are already established in the Country so minimal disruption and generally able to get going on a job in shorter time-frame, also have a better understanding of the cultrue within the Middle East and how to work within in which again is a bonus.
Skill set of the candidates and fit against the requirements of the role are also very important factors but all being equal the above will apply.
Defiantly you can apply from anywhere, if you are the suitable candidate, technology let nothing they can select you.
