What do you think is missing in Bayt Streams?!

Out of my mind I would say:
1- When some one rates my answer negative, I would like to know why, it could be something like he has to fill-in a reason comment, without showing his name or profile link.

2- Some questions inspires me for tutorial topics; I believe it is worth having a tutorials section on Bayt Streams rather than writing in external blog or community, with option to add photos ,illustrations, videos...etc, while integrating the tutorial section into the feed-page search option, and as the first choice careers portal, Bayt editors can start a series of tutorials about career road map for each field, job hunting strategies....etc.

3- I am following some professionals, though I still didn't get what does that add to my feed page!
4- I would like to have a reply option in the comments, so I can reply to each comment individually.

5- Some questions would have an amazing shape if formatted in a vote, yes or no, multiple choice answers, it will be great if added polls or some kind of surveying question type.

6- Ranks naming has a membership naming style "Bronze, Silver...etc" which is not exactly a real presentation of the rank of expertise, I suggest names like "amateur, junior, pro, expert, guru....etc"
7- With the current experts database at Bayt Streams, you may start the largest KPIs database library on the internet, it exists on other websites, but not updated and your chance to keep the same updated is much higher.

8- Somehow I always find Bayt a little bit slow, I am connecting from Egypt, not sure if all users have the same issue!
9- I would like to see the upcoming events in my Geo area of the specialties I follow.

0- People tend to be more verbal oriented while using the internet, you may offer kind of middleman service like: Search for business partners in "Country Name", or Search for interested sponsors for your coming events, Join a specialty courses at your location, Advertising agencies in your area ....
I mean some kind of business service that helps professionals.

1- I would love to watch video interviews done by Bayt with some successful experts in MENA, discussing in a professional way their success stories.

2- Passing real tough IQ exams or certificates in "Verbal, Visual, Numerical Reasoning" provided by Bayt; can add a badge to the my profile which will help employers for better evaluation.

I would like to be able to run a targeted search on certain questions/topics.
The negative rating feedback is also important, as Hossam suggested.

I think the first thing to adjust would be not to allow the person who asked a question to answer it :) Hossam it is not fair that you asked a great question just to provide a great answer.
I love the new social aspect of Bayt.com since networking is the best method to get a new job.
The stream could be overwhelming and confusing, I echo the requests to provide more options to segment and search the questions and answers.
Also we should be able to contact the people who follow us for free, and Bayt.com could charge for contacting others.

I would Suggest.
- Adding like and dislike feature with the answer or comment.
- As you have "Vote Question as useful" .
it will be Good to add Vote Down for the question if it is not related to the Feed or very stupid:) and all features Mentioned by others.

I believe questions are too general and you can manage to find most answers in managerial text books, what would create more value here is to ask questions about issues we struggle with on a daily basis and try to see how other people see and go about solving these problems.
Furthermore, I think the way the streams have been categorised in so many different topics create a lot of confusion, I think you should reduce the number of categories and also have a monitoring system that disallows all questions from being posted.
But I thank you for the general idea of bayt streams, I think it could be a great added value to your website.
It has definitely effected the number of times I visit your site.

I would suggest three addition in current page : 1.
When ever we quote any URL page while answering any questions it should be clickable, at present for ex i post www.bayt.com its not clickable when its shown on my answer option and we have to use copy & paste option to visit that page which decreases the interest level of user.
2.
I understand each site has a revenue generation model & one should charge for contact credit.
But i believe you can encourage active user by providing lets say 10 contact credit for every 100 credit you earn by answering the query or by being active.
3.
Online chat option with the members will add stars to the page.

if you have a kind of blog in different specialties, to share our experiences , it would open after i had been given special rank in my specialty , also Bayt team should review these blogs .

First, I'd like to see a section for suggestions for imorovement, there are many good idea on here that might get lost.
I see a few usability issues with the Streams site.
1.
The Load more link at the bottom to load more questions/answers.
This creates a problem when say you clicked that link a couple of times, so you have a long page going, then you click on a question/answer to view, when you come back you've lost your position on the page.
2.
Mixing questions with answers is a headache.
You can keep scrolling if the question had say 10 recent answers, why not keep the list by question? So for example if a question just had a recent answer, just pump the question up (as recent activity) and keep the answers hidden from view until the user clicks the questions, this will save me from scrolling all the time if the question does not interest me.
3.
There should be a way to vote down a question and the poster would lose points.
This would happen if the question is not relative, or too shallow, or it shows that the poster did not even bother to use google or wikipedia.
Like some people might ask "what is sharepoint?".
This should deter people from posting frivolous questions and encourage them to do their homework first!
