Micro-managing can create an environment of mistrust and therefore does not allow your employees to learn or grow. There is even the possibility that they just become 'do-ers' not 'thinkers'. Basically, you may block your employees from advancing in their own careers by not allowing them to step outside of their comfort zone.
A good leader will be one who can see the big picture, not one whose mind is filled with minute details about every task being performed by the team. A good leader will consider and hopefully, accept new ideas and allow the team to be proactive in their approaches to tasks/goals etc.
Some examples would be to create a vision statement for your team; prioritise well; create lists of tasks in order of highest value to the organisation to lowest; assign tasks to those with the right skills, train your employees, and last but not least delegate.
tips and exercises that a team leader can follow in order to avoid micro-managing his team members are Good training for workers and determine responsibilities, field visits and follow-up reports and the granting of the necessary powers and the authorities for the performance of the team and periodic meetings, evaluation and analysis of the performance indicators implementation in accordance with the time and financial plan of implementation
focus on our goal and respect everyone of our teammates and work like a one person
I agree with the answer Colleagues
