in proper lubrication sucation and discharge valve leakage
1- Faulty pressur gauge or suction filters chocked.
2 - Check valve is not properly working on main discharge line.
3 - Poor prforance of intermidiate cooler ( insufficiant water flow )
4 - Water jackets need cleaning
5 - Comprrssor outlet valves seats are leaking.
6 - Ferection due to improper lubrication ( oil filters chocking )
1.Loading valve plates damage
2.Inter satge coller low coooling effect.
3. Discharge line partialy blockage or retriction in discharge line
The three causes for high discharge temperatures are:
VALVE OR VALVES (SUCTION OR DISCHARGE) DON'T WORK PROPERLY. LEAKAGE COULD BE THE MAIN REASON.
Temperature always increases when fluid compresses.
Higher then design is due to wearing of internal parts.
Lubrication problem and also when the air compressor is running with high discharge pressure than what required at the end use.
1 due to PI( pressure indicator faultily )
2 if discharge valve leak
3 inlet gas temperature is high dueto inter cooler problem
6 due to cylinder jack ting service temperature issue
may be caused in
1- cooling system
2- lubrication system.
3- exhaust valve problem
There can be many differing causes, Compressors by their very mechanical nature of how they use brute force to compress air tends to produce a higher outlet temperature anyway.
High compression Ratio's can be a factor which is possible if the unit has been geared up or the engine sped up in an attempt to get more CFM out of the unit, this leads to higher temperatures (bad cooling) of both the compressor and the power unit which generally highlights ineficiencies in the overall design of modified units being asked to more than their original design specified.
General wear and tear and improper maintenance can have a significant effect on a units performance which usually leads to inssufficient cooling of a unit.
unsufficient cooling of the compressor
