Do not take it personal... Cultures and certain geographical experience are very important to some recruiters! Therefore, try to build some experience there, or search for a different Region !

Job market in the UAE is highly competitive and I believe relevant regional work experience in any field is the key to landing a  good  well paid job. When looking for any job in a particular region, regional market knowledge is a must. Since marketing functions of each company is unique, the events industry in the UAE caters to diverse cultures whereas this is not the case in India. Patience is the mother of all virtue.  Dubai is a dynamic city with lots of opportunities, hang in there and I am sure with a little patience and hard work, you will land a good job.

There are different working culture in middle east and India. Middle east experience many at times not counted due to various reasons.

In India working hours are more, work pressure is high, responsibilities attached to a given profile is high due which are not the same in middle east and I feel this could be one of the reason they might treat you as such.
