What is the difference between 'ought to' and' had to'? Give examples please.

Ought to” used to indicate obligation or duty, advisability and desiarability. “had to” is compulsory and more stronger than “ought to”.

to is used for obligations. Had to is the past tense of have to

When you must do something, you had to do it. It is used for a situation that has no choice.Have to is used for obligations. Had to is the past tense of have to
