diameter (ID) and wall thickness of the pipe. Additionally the length of the pipe is specified as SRL (Single Running Length -6Mtrs) & DRL (Double Running Length -12 Mtrs). Schedules are provided as a means of standardization of pipe sizes. When a pipe is specified with the OD of6" (NPS-6) and a Schedule of40 it helps us to calculate the wall thickness (7.11mm) and inside diameter (154.08 mm) of the pipe and any manufacturer making the pipe will follow the same dimensions for the same schedul
