Removal of the Total Dissolved Solids mean Desalination process. The choice of the method ( R.O or Evaporation-Condensation depend on many parameters as cost ,area ,quantity ,use after treatment& the physic- chemical parameter such as T.D.S ,Temperature. Most likely the method would be Evaporation-Condensation (multi stage flash evaporation MSF).
By using Reverse Osmoses Unit
1- Drain some of high TDS and do makeup with low TDS fresh water.
2- Re-treat the high TDS water with R.O unit and recycle again
There are two ways
Reverse Osmosis Method.
Ion exchange Method.
We can solve this proble by using above two methods. If we want to reduce 1200 ppm TDS to 600 PPM , then half of water passsed through RO plant or Ion exchange towers where positive and Negative Ions exchange into H and OH ions.
by adding an oxidation bacteria to move the dissolved organic mineral in the water and filtrate it by active carbon
The use of RO (Reverse Osmosis) system will lower the TDS levels.
by using Evaporation and condensation process we can remove up to 40,000 TDS to 800 TDS .
EFFICIENT RO TECHNOLOGY IS ENOUGH TO REDUCE TDS
we will use pre filteration system and Sand filter.also we will use specific chemicals for example Antiscanlant & Sulfuric Acid.
by using RO we can solve this problem
First of thing, classify the hardness to find the proper pretreatment way to decrease the hardness precipitation so will be ready for further salt removal by (I prefer) Reverse Osmosis
