I would say, definitely yes.

As you are currently in construction, your move to facility maintenance would increase your width of experience. In the new position, you will learn new technologies, meet new colleagues and work with new suppliers – it would certainly be a plus in terms of moving up in your career in the near future.

According to me ,,,  maintenance is easier than constructing , if you know how to build or construct it , so you will definitely know how to maintain it ,, but there is also something else that effect Facilities management ,,, meant FM is not only limited to maintenance ,, it covers lots of things , which also needs different skills,

maintenance skills,

cross networking ,

people skills ,

sustainability,

etc, etc,

in my opinion, yes. i can't see any problem for  you switching between working as a construction electrician and facility maintenance. though, i can say that between the two, construction electrician is more labor intensive and physically harder. need to consider the fact that construction workers were almost always exposed to the elements like sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.

Although this is not my area of expertise, I would generally say that variation in experience after acquiring base level expertise, is always looked as a positive attribute.
