2. Definition of the organization, systems and culture: -It is important to be familiar with the organization, systems and functions of each department and what you what you need. This is Celtic to move inside and outside the institution. And dealing with others with high confidence. You must be functional tasks know very well in order to play to the fullest. There is no objection that I asked your colleagues, and read what is available to you from the institution in which they operate systems, and must take care of training opportunities on the enterprise systems. And learn about your rights.Be careful that you do not know the work system may make you penetrate these systems inadvertently which others might consider negligence or lack of respect for the systems. Learn organizational culture of the institution, because institutions vary in this administrative matter. Learn how to deal and the culture of meetings because some institutions are Balsmh and some are characterized Ballasmh and some are interested in speed and some are interested in quality to other things which help the productivity of the enterprise. You also need to identify the manager and style of his work and likes and dislikes.

3. First impressions: -First impressions have a significant effect may persist for a long time be sure to create a good impression in the early days of your business. We are committed to deadlines and required attire and work rules. You showed your interest and your kid and be careful in dealing with others. Thank others for their help and guide you. You showed your respect for your colleagues and do not try to engage in conflicts. It is not intended that fooling them, but be careful a little bit because the first impressions of her considerations and because you are perceived sensitivity in the first periodFor example, it asked the audience half an hour late for work may carry on the person you are uncommitted, while it might be a request to attend an hour late for a very acceptable work Months after you join the work. The lack of precise holds comply with the instructions in your days that you are the first person playboy While it may be acceptable non-compliance in the future, depending on business conditions. You might think that your boss alone is the one who follows you, but in fact, they are all around you the impression you. Impressions colleagues and other managers affect you so much. Some of them may convey his impression of the manager and some of them may help in the future to move to work better under his presidency.

You may find great help and may not find enough help. In any case, try to develop your self. Not Taatall weak training opportunities, but look for information here and there. Not satisfied with what you hear from colleagues, but go back to the books and look on the Internet and ask other colleagues. Try to scrutinize the information. You may find the library in the organization try whatever weak exploit. You may find references to the colleagues try to borrow. You may find systems for business or catalogs or training materials read it. Do not try to hide information so that it appears only if you were able to solve the business problems. If you really Knower, it does not hurt to learn that someone else because you have a lot of knowledge, this is not going to overtake you. If you're trying to be sensitive to your conscience to work, you have the success of the institution and it is not your right to monopolize information. If you are a believer in God This is not the way you're looking out for promotions

7. Information: -Information tool is very important to perform the work and its development. Suppose you're an engineer joined the action as a week ago, then you have been to work on holiday of Eid alone without experienced engineers. Suddenly, something wrong happened. What are you doing ? There are several questions Stsolha: - How was the case in previous days? Is this a fault happened before and how was it treated? What the gravity of the holidays? Have there been other crashes? Where are the tools which will be used to treat the holidays? Where the graphics? Where catalogs? You ask for information or to find and address the holidays quickly and either not be found and face great difficulty in treating the problem

8. Create a creative atmosphere: -Try to be creative. Look for new ideas! Do not be frozen! Think about how to perform the work performed better than Carl Diqid or Frank or in the United States or Frankfurt. Encourage others to development! Involve others with you in creativity! If you have subordinates encourage them to think and encouraged them to clarify the problems! Creative ideas come from anyone no matter how little would. Collective thinking is the best way to develop. Remember! There are enemies of development and there is resistance to change. There are those who will tell you that you should not estimated subordinates and not to allow them by making their opinions. There are those who say that you subordinates on a small level of knowledge and ideas obsolete. I tell you this is nonsense and psychological diseases among others. All people have the mind they are able to be creative.

9. Prevent error repeat: -We are all trying to avoid the mistake we all make the mistake now and then. You can not avoid falling into the completely wrong, but you can reduce it and you can prevent its recurrence. When an error occurs that you or someone else look for the real caused by the thought of how to prevent its occurrence in the future

10. invest the time: -Do not waste your time in trivial conversations and unproductive, but took advantage of the empty times at work in learning and improvement and development. Do not sit without work die your mind! Onguen your business and learn new skills. Gained experience of colleagues and learn about their business. Either that this is good for you in your business and that is good for you either in the search for another job

11. Regulation: -Be disciplined in your time, try to organize the workplace, try to organize files. System is a very important pillar of success. Never leave the office is full of papers, but placed in the file in an orderly way. The organization takes time now, but not regulation might take the time to fold this later in time be in need of the time. Put everything his place in order to reach it quickly and easily. If you're dealing with customers, try to provide what you need to deal with them in advance in order to reduce the time of service. Again do not sit with your colleagues and talk about the organization of foreigners for their time and their place of work, but challenge yourself to be your workplace more orderly and cleaner than so and so-and-so Office in Washington, London or Tokyo.

12. cope with the frustrations of work: -The work was a trifle tried to create other tasks more complicated. If you suffer from emptiness try to exploit the time to learn. If you suffer from lack of ego at work, try to do other work outside of work for self-realization. When faced with the frustrations of work and do not give in to frustration, you continue to work without affecting your health and mental condition and perhaps find another job. What is important is to continue to work and tender. The road is not full of flowers, but you have the face of difficulties to create a better work environment for your children and your grandchildren, and to stand in front of the mirror after a long life, God willing, and you feel you see someone respected

Advice for Entry-Level and Mid-Career Retail Workers

“Large retailers are looking for professionals who have a skill set that will add to their knowledge of what products they need to have available and how tastes are changing,” says Jack Kleinhenz, chief economist for the National Retail Federation.

Factors that could limit retail hiring include:

  • State minimum wage laws (higher minimum wage reduces hiring)
  • Affordable Care Act (stores could decide to not hire at all or reduce workers’ hours so workers don't qualify for insurance)
  • Consolidation in the retail sector (which usually results in store closures and job losses)

Population Shifts Influence Retail

US demographic changes will continue to have huge impact on retail employment. As the overall population ages, household growth has slowed and shifted to Western and Southern states. Bricks-and-mortar retail jobs will follow those population shifts, so if your goal is to work on the front lines of retail, you should do the same.

As the number of Spanish-speaking consumers continues to grow, especially in the South and West, so will demand for bilingual retail workers in consumer-facing positions. Experience developing and marketing product to Hispanic-American consumers, as well as the growing Asian-American market in the west, could also give you an edge in the job market.

Another big demographic pattern influencing retail is the large proportion of younger Americans who are living with their parents rather than branching out to form their own households. The share of adults in their 20s heading their own households remains 2.6 percentage points below rates 10 years earlier, a difference of 1.1 million fewer households, the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University estimates. When those young people do not go on to form their own households, they do not go on to purchase everything from furniture and appliances to dishwashing soap. That can lower consumer spending which in turn leads to fewer retail jobs.

If you are in the information sector of retail, your best job opportunities could be located anywhere. “There could be more opportunities in cities where a large percentage of the employment base is baby boomers headed for retirement,” Kleinhenz says.

Retail Holding Steady

Over the next several years, the retail employment market should expand slightly, according to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. In 2012, the BLS estimated the retail sector would expand by nearly 1.1 million jobs between 2012 and 2022.

At that point, the US economy had not yet fully recovered and consumer spending rate was lower than in previous post-recovery economies. The BLS estimate for 2022 assumed economic growth at 2.6 percent per year, an average unemployment rate of 5.4 percent per year and productivity increases of 2 percent per year.

If those assumptions hold up, retail employment would rise 0.7 percent overall and 16 million Americans would be able to work in the retail sector by 2022. However, as the middle of 2014 approached, economic growth and productivity were below those marks and unemployment was running higher at 6.3 percent. Still, some economists were projecting the U.S. economy would grow by 3 percent during the remainder of 2014.

The BLS projects that between 2012 and 2022 sales employment in retail would grow 10 percent  from 4,447,000 workers to 4,881,700 workers – about as fast as the average for all occupations.

Not all niches within retail will offer an increasing number of job openings, though. The BLS predicts general merchandise stores, like warehouse clubs and supercenters, will experience the strongest job growth, making them a good target for job seekers. Demand for salespeople in this retail niche could grow as much as 28 percent over the 2012-2022 period. Retail jobs in department stores, on the other hand, are projected to grow only 5 percent over the same time period.

However, the high turnover in retail jobs typically results in large numbers of job openings. Hay Group reports 67 percent turnover among part-time retail employees.

Advice for Entry-Level Retail Job Seekers

Those seeking entry-level retail positions will find recruiting patterns have changed in recent years. While companies previously hired recent college graduates for executive training programs, many organizations are now beginning to train students at an earlier age, a process called pipelining, says Andrew Cronan, director the Career and Internship Center at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

“They get people as interns and teach them their culture and make them feel comfortable as interns even before junior year,” he says. “More and more, the hiring decisions and exposure are happening earlier in the college [program].”

Advice for Mid-Career Retail Pros

Mid-career professionals should be especially vigilant in keeping their skills updated as they jump into and out of retail jobs. You cannot anticipate every twist in market dynamics, so take advantage of any type of training or education you can get.

If you are returning to merchandising management after being out for a number of years, you may need to retool your technology skills to include product lifecycle management (PLM) software and data analysis. “Think about how you can enhance your skills capacity over time and stay up-to-date so you’re ready when an opportunity comes,” Kleinhenz says.

No matter where you are in your retail career, if you are in a customer-facing job, you will make yourself a most valuable employee by honing your communication skills and knowledge of how individuals make buying decisions.

Those who can anticipate and understand new retail sales trends and know how to use marketing technology to increase sales will likely find a place for in the retail job market.
