Try to find an internship in an ISP or IT service solution company. Like CORVIT networks.
where you just see the dimensions of networking field. It will let you know to which field of
networks you may excel.
No matter if they do not pay you for 3 months or 6 months but a start at ISP or service provider level will be excellent for you.
The best way to build a good networking career is start with basic networking. At the beginning we have to know the basic cabling IP setup and distribution state and cross over connection color coding and etc. Its all about primary section.then we can do CCNA for advance networking. Not only networking, if we try to build any professional profile we need to improving by following the related step.
i suggest you go complete system administration / network administration course including microsoft and linux.there are very few jobs in just networkingcompanies these days need complete profile of desktop management , system administration , networking !
Have you done any Network related certifications like CISCO ( CCNA for a start ) or CompTIA (Network+) which will give you an overall idea about Networks and how they work.
Once you obtain these qualifications you can apply for training positions until you get enough experience.
If you are already qualified, I suggest you apply for managed service providers (Telcos, IT support) or Network Administrator positions in reputed firms which will be a good start to build up the career in Network Operations and services.
