A good curriculum depicts the needs of students for learning the language. It is believed that a needs analysis should be made to know if students want to use English for working or academic purposes. As well as that, a number of skills such as productive or receptive should be taken into consideration when making a curriculum depending what skills learners should improve on. Finally, learners cultural background and mentality should be regarded to design a curriculum to show the importance and the relevance of the course coverage.
